I hadn’t gotten very far into the process of putting the radio interface together when I hit my first problem. I’d purchased a dual rotary encoder with the hopes of using it as a frequency selector. I wired it up as suggested, and it worked briefly before one stopped working entirely and the other skipped forward or backward randomly.
